— June 16, 2006 — According to a survey of dental professionals, tooth whitening is the number one, most requested procedure (63.7%) by patients between 40 and 60 years old.

58% of the dentists surveyed named veneers, bonding, or crowns as the second most requested procedure by baby boomers, with treatments for periodontal disease coming in at third with 55%. Prevention advice and dental implants followed at 35.4 percent and 34.7 percent, respectively.
